Baby croc

Well, today the guys and I snuk out of hospital early and headed over to stellenbosch and to the crocodile farm.

The farm is a commercial place producing crocks for meat and for leather.

Wasn't what i was expecting, i was expecting it to be a bit more like steve irwin's australia zoo with loads of cool enclosures etc.

But there was just one 'big' pool with about 30 large croc's of varying ages, ten a couple of smaller pools with thousands of baby crocks, 2 crocks that where born with out tails, and a barn full of croc eggs and baby crocs that where not allowed into the pond and out doors yet (100's of them)

There was also an albino croc that was kept in a tank indoors as it would sun burn out doors, there was a shaded enclosure that was almost complete where this one was soon to be rehomed to.

We bought some meat to try... but someone turned he fridge off and it went out of date... gutted.
