Change is inevitable-except from a vending machine

We are going through a lot of changes lately. Me with my job and new opportunities I'm making for myself, as well as our home. This is our side patio that my husband just tore up. We are going to cover the whole area with a deck and stairs that lead down to the backyard. It's going to give us much more usable space. This is probably our 4th big improvement we've made to our house since we moved in February of 2009. Our first was our backyard fence and our next project will be landscaping the front yard.

Today I went to the orientation for my new position as a volunteer horse caregiver at Pegasus Rising, which offers horse assisted therapy for the military and their families. My first shift starts Monday.

Also on Monday we bring home our new puppy! I'm very excited about that!
