Invasion

Ever since the hot weather has arrived, I've noticed a lot of spider webs around. This is the first time I have ever seen a circular web inside before. The orb weavers usually build them off of trees. This one is on my dinning room table between two vases of flowers. Kind of similar to this web.

Today, my mom, my sister, and I left at 7am to drive up to L.A. to go to the Museum of Tolerance. It was a school assignment and my whole class was there as well. The best part was getting to listen to an actual survivor of the Holocaust. His name is Henry Oster, and in April he just found out he was the only survivor from the town he was born in. He has not returned to Germany since he left in 1945, but he is returning in August after receiving an official invitation from the town. He started to tear up as he spoke of this. It was really special to hear him speak.
