The next time I wandered past this tree and remembered that I'd taken this and that I'd meant to see how long it would be allowed to remain in place before being felled, it had been felled.

Another can't-remember-much-about-the-day film-backblip whose digital remains reveal only that I spent a bit of time rephotographing some negatives (which I mostly re-took just before uploading this six months later) and walked home along the West Port but had evidently decided not to use either of the two pictures I took along it as I think I was always intending to use this.
