Santa Barbara

It's great to be back by the ocean again. See, I called it the "ocean" there. I got trouble the other day from people for calling it "The Sea". They don't call it the sea in America.

Being in Santa Barbara has rekindled my love for boats again. I must own one at some point in life. They are expensive to buy, expensive to run and are a lot of hassle to look after, but it'd be great to sit in the marina, sipping a glass of wine and seeing all the people on the shore staring at you like we were today.

Better find a job and stick at it if I want to buy a boat one day. All this gallivanting across America isn't good for saving.
