Snail crop

In a garden near ours - I don't suppose the gardeners are deliberately trapping these snails on their bean poles, but maybe they should try eating them. They are edible, but they have to be purified in a bucket, being fed salad leaves for several days. The best thing about eating snails, for me, is the garlic butter or the aioli served with them so I've never felt it was worth the trouble.
