SWEET DREAMS

I'm having a practise run at retirement this week and have already decided it's definitely for me. Not that it's going to happen for a while, but I can dream. I've got a whole week off work but we are not going away so I can potter and pootle about doing whatever I fancy.

Today was lots of cooking to fill the freezer, then a neighbour gave me some blackcurrants so I made a couple of pies. Next a trip to the garden centre for a new bird feeder pole, and then a play with the camera and the manual. Now I'm going to nip up the garden to pick the next courgette and make dinner.

A very pleasant day. Think we'll open a bottle of wine to celebrate.
