a study in scarlet

love these red lilies! i could've sworn half this pot was going to be either yellow or orange, i'm sure there was no label on one potful i bought last year - but even better that they're all red, a fabulous show. there's half a dozen plants so i think i'll split them in the autumn - half in the garden and half back in the pot with some white ones i bought this year (which never came out as they got nibbled by mice, *sigh*).

no proper garden time with extra-long work shifts :-( i miss my therapy!
