Hand Raised

Very first attempt at hand raising a hot water crust pie. Ready to be filled with chopped roast lamb and gravy left over from yesterday's Sunday roast dinner. They were a bit dry but very tasty, next time I'll put more liquid in and hopefull they'll work a bit better.

Bit of a youtube Rush-fest in anticipation of the biography film, still we conversed over it which is a lot better than sitting in silence in front of the TV.

Spent a lot of lunch time trying to get descriptions into my blip search timeline but it only seems to work under the current method if there are very few search items. Back to the drawing board on that one.

I also had a bit of a typographic epiphany on the train at the weekend which I managed to spend some time on which means I can kern type via javascript which I'm quite chuffed about. It turned out to be as easy to implement as I'd hoped though as you have to specify the kern amount on an individual character basis it can be quite lengthy to make the function call.
