A Seat in the Sun

This morning saw the departure of son-in-law Adam and granddaughter Robynn to Portsmouth for a visit to his Mama. They are both going to be doing some gigs while they are down there with Adam on guitar and Robynn singing. They have a drummer and another guitarist lined up to make a foursome.

Meanwhile Daughter #3 and I are going to pack up some paintings that she wants to have from our fine collection of homegrown and fully paid up pictures adorning the walls of the castle, before she heads back to Muscat tomorrow and her life as a radio presenter and keep fit teacher to expats and abaya wearing Omani ladies.

As soon as the packing is done , his Lordship and I plus daughters #1&3 are going to sit in the sun on the patio with glasses of wine and enjoy a beautiful summer's afternoon. In fact even if the packing is not finished the sitting out and relaxing with the vino is really more important I think. The packing can be done later tonight when the sun is not tempting us outside.

The seat in the blip belongs in a little courtyard of an antique shop very close to our castle.
