miracle!

yesterdays disaster turned into an actual miracle. fact!

we were very much broken down in the middle of nowhere. it was doubtful that the new suspension we needed for our trailer could be found anywhere other than lilongwe, about 5 hours away.

we phoned a friend of ours and he told us that there was an orphanage close to where we had broken down. it actual fact, it was only a few minutes down the road. we managed to tow the trailer there and found an absolute haven. not only is it the best run orphanage i've ever seen in africa, but they had showers we could use (first in nearly a month) and a mechanic! hallelujah!

he set off on his bike to find a truck that he had seen. it had broken down and was selling off parts. he found a suspension way bigger than ours but brought it back and started working on it. he managed to alter it (don't ask me how) and fit it onto our trailer. in the meantime we were fed by the missionary families and got to hear some amazing stories and testimonies. such a great experience and i'm actually quite glad we broke down.
