Seaweed

Fairly strong wind for about 24 hours and the high tide left the beach covered in seaweed. Strange is some respects as the bay was sheltered from the wind direction.

The beauty of the seaweed on the beach is that the birds can feast themselves on all sorts of insects. Beach was busy with oystercatchers and ringed plovers in particular.
