turkey in the straw
Found art of a sort. Wild Turkey are native to this area, We often see them, more often hear them, and have counted as many as 32 at a time. That was before the Red Fox moved back and set up housekeeping across the road, though. Since then the flocks have been about half that size.
I found this feather the other evening and was struck by the similarities between its striations and those of the Bunch Grass. It was pretty windy and the grass was blowing quite a lot, but I hope I managed to find enough of a lull that you'll enjoy it anyway.
