Following my recently confessed phobia it was alarming to walk into the Arran Heritage Centre and see the 1940s school exhibition housing these faceless scaries. You should've seen the school marm - grey faceless face, gold specs and a blond wig that could well have belonged to Lady Gaga.

Anyway today it bucketed so every cafe and shop was packed and it was vile and miserable and the ferry trip back couldn't come quick enough.
