Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

Tristan's Great-Grandma

Someday Tristan will appreciate the title I've given this page.

I didn't want to miss life.turns, so this is my first attempt and I'm trying to imitate figure 8, but I am not sure if this is a successful pose, but I have tried my best. I was swaying a little while balancing on one foot as Mr. Fun clicked the camera--dynamic duo that we are!

I'm hoping some of my dearest blip friends will soon join this "walk." I'll always remember the fun we all had this past January as we one-by-one got brave enough to stand in front of the camera for "BlipTogether." It was a terrific season in Blipfoto. Don't miss this -- come on everyone!

I think of this photo as Grandma Rosie walking to Oklahoma City to get little Tristan, who departed from southern California this past Tuesday morning to return to the Midwest with his mom. We miss them more than words convey.

This morning Desiree, Tristan's mom, posted on FaceBook that she got the Fedex job in Oklahoma City that she interviewed for on Wednesday morning. She will be a CSA (Customer Service Agent). I think she hopes to eventually transfer to this part of the country. We are thrilled that she landed this position.

Well, it is a pleasant summer warm here. Our daughter and family have a condo at Capo Beach (near Dohney) for the next week (starting this afternoon). It is just across Pacific Coast Highway from the sand. We hope to spend sometime there with them.

We also hope to soon get to the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach. That is a favorite summer outing.

Have a soothing summer weekend everyone (unless you are in the southern hemisphere--then we hope you have a cozy winter weekend).

It's 2:20 p.m. and I'm signing-off from Southern California.
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
