Yosemite

After a night in San Jose we headed back in land a bit to Yosemite. Views wise it is as spectacular as Yellowstone. Amenities wise it is not even on par. But not to worry as this is our FINAL round of camping on this massive adventure (subject to us finding somewhere to live in Vancouver!)

Here is the campsite we will be spending three days at. Emma is seen cooking our dinner of pasta, carefully trying not to spill any as we don't want any bears visiting.

Speaking off bears... fast forward a few hours after this photo was taken. Fast asleep at about 2 am, suddenly hear a bit of commotion from our camping neighbours. Turns out there was a massive big grizzly bear right outside our tent. They frequently visit the campsite trying to steal food from the food lockers. Thankfully our neighbours had bought an air horn so were able to scare it off. I had my hand on the car keys for the rest of the night. Not to make a quick escape, but to press the panic alarm button on the keyring. Pressing this button sets of the alarm on the car and flashes all the lights, that should scare Yogi off... hopefully!
