I think we need a bigger boat ... or maybe not

Went to Elgol for a boat trip around some of the islands off Skye.

So, dressed for the occasion, we set off in a RIB, taking us to Rum, Canna and Soay. Among the wildlife we saw were Puffins, Red Deer, Porpoise, Shag, Seals, Cormorants, Guillemots, Gannets ... and Basking Sharks. It was wonderful to get so close to them.

At the end of the trip, the skipper zoomed the RIB around in circles, which made for a dizzyingly exciting finish.

Fish & Chips in Broadford seemed like the perfect end to the day.
