From Where One Stands

Blowin' in the wind

I have a new camera.
And I love her.
I LOVE HER I LOVE HER I LOVE HER!!!

I havent had much time to play with her yet, but I know she and I are going to form a beautiful friendship.
(And, yes, she has become a 'her' already)

Sunday was manic. I wanted to sit and work out what she could do, but instead I had to bake birthday cupcakes for The Man, visit friends on a boat, ice said birthday cupcakes, shower, change, eat and be back in Bromyard early for The Man's birthday drinks. So I didnt get chance to play properly.

But on the way over to His, He rang and said he was running a few minutes late, so I took advantage and stopped at my favourite vantage point, over looking the Teme Valley. I stopped so I could play around with the zoom and see what it could do - 14x zoom people, this is HUGE compared to my old camera! And I got some nice pics, not great, but good for a start. And then, as I was zooming in on the hills in the distance the wind got up and this piece of grass blew into the shot.
And this happened.
Entirely by accident.
But I love it.
