A look through the hole where one of the 18 burners has to be.
A look at the blades of the power turbine.
The first row of turbine blades directly after the burners are cooled with air, derived from the gasturbine compressor.
The are coated and have to be cooled, otherwise they wil burn....
The temperature is app. 1280 deg Centigrade, which is appr 2336 deg F.



Here is a view at the "first stage nozzle ring" (at least the upper half, which directs the hot gasses to the first stage turbine wheel.
In the back a few guys which were a bit suspicious about what I was doing there but when I explained it was no problem....
