Gorrillaz

The girls and I went across to see friends who live near Brampton today. They are former colleagues of mine, and I was really pleased that another former colleague and his lovely family were able to join us there too. After a scrumptious lunch made up, mostly, of home-grown produce, we headed over to nearby Talkin Tarn to the Lakes Alive event - loads going on around the lake and the woods, and we only scratched the surface really. Gracie enjoyed it so much, especially engaging in various hands on puppetry demos. Thankfully, we didn't run into the big bad wolf in the woods or I think we'd have been coping with a very scared toddler tonight, although she really wasn't bothered by these gorrillas, so might not have been too bad. As it was, we have instead been coping with POO this evening, and lots of it. Ophelia just slept in her pushchair through the whole event at Talkin Tarn, as she'd had a huge lunch; a lunch that she decided to deposit into the bathwater tonight, so I've spent the evening trying to remove poo from the inside of her bathseat. Seriously, it went through a hole and seeped into every nook and cranny. Lovely.
