Katie is fascinated, and calmed, by the washing machine. It is by far the most effective of her toys at relaxing her. Lay her on a cushion and I can almost manage a full spin worth of ironing! Until she wants a feed that is!

Today her and I went to church, it was a really cold, wet day and Mummy got drenched on the way there, but for a change Katie obliged in staying calmly in her pram so was not involved in the drenching. I was very glad we went as a good friend was there and got to meet Katie. I'd looked after all her three boys from birth- her eldest even calls me his big sister.

After church, it was a rain-induced homeday. And as the picture would suggest, a laundry day too!
