Lovely Crail
We were set a mission today from Aunty Gill. She is heading up to St.Andrews for a couple of days for the Open and will be staying in a property in St.Andrews...we had to collect the key for said property from a lady in Cellardyke.
We headed off quite late in the day really. I wanted to get some home organisation done before we left. This second week of my holidays is often used to get the house back on an even keel!
It was a smashing day. We found the house in Cellardyke quite easily and collected said key. We then decided to head along to Crail. As a youngster, my husband spent many of his family holidays in this East Neuk town so he has fond memories of Crail.
It was a wee bit breezy but once we had settled down on the beach at Roome Bay, close into the wall we were quite protected and we spent a lovely couple of hours chilaxing as Es would say. I love easy days like this.
Before we left we took a walk into town and bought ice-creams at the Bee Hive and then walked back over the cliffs.
A great day out.
