It's a matter of personal choice

Day two of the Aunty Gill mission. After collecting the key in Cellardyke yesterday we had to deliver it to Aunty Gill today in Troon!

We headed off before 10 as we had a 12 noon deadline. Gill was hoping to leave work shortly after that so she and Uncle Paul could head up to St.Andrews.

The weather was awful absolutely pouring and the drive to Glasgow was torturous, however, the skies cleared, a little, as we left Glasgow and headed south west.

By the time we handed the keys over to Uncle Paul the rain had stopped and we decided to head for Troon Beach. We were very lucky, as we had an hour on the Beach and at the swing park there and the sun actually shone for some of that time.

We headed back to Aunty Gill's restaurant...it's not really hers but that's what we call it:-) and had a lovely lunch.

We then headed home, via Ikea:-) As we drove across Glasgow we saw this high rise part way through demolition. My husband commented on all the different interior decorating choices we could see. I only had the i-phone with me and it really doesn't do it justice. It made you think about the people who had lived there and about the life those walls had seen.

After our wee saunter round Ikea buying lots of interior decorating accessories we didn't realise we needed until we saw them;-) we drove home and the weather was worse than it had been that morning.
