It is a beautiful life-

For what it is

When I was little, this old dresser would sit in the corner of our basement. I remember climbing on out, putting my dress up clothes in it's drawers, and wanting to paint it because it looked just as ratty then as it does now.
The dresser now sits in the corner of our garage, covered in dust and dirt. I haven't opened the drawers in years, and neither has anyone else. It's just an ancient piece of furniture that can't seem to find it's place in our household.

I took this same picture in black and white, I edited it so that it was bright and highly contrasted, and I played with the hue and saturation. To be perfectly honest none of it seemed right. I officially decided that the duller colors and light set off the mood that the dresser gives, and the emotion that I wanted it to set in the picture. I wanted people to see this dresser for what it really is.
