Oh, hello there, tree!

So I drove up to my apartment this afternoon only to find it hiding behind half of a tree.

Sadly this tree had apparently been struck by lightning the night before.

I am glad it didn't break any of my windows, but was a bit annoyed that it made it nearly impossible to get in my front door.

I will miss my dappled shade in the living room and the bit of privacy I had.
