Long walk to the train bridge!

We were checking out the long dock out to the viewing area of Long Island Sound today when Jack heard the horn blowing for the train draw bridge!! He has never seen the draw bridge in action, so we knew we wanted to get over there quick!

We could hear the zapping of the tracks, and the bridge started to go down. Jack was pretty excited because he knew a train was coming!!

The sailboats were circling, waiting for the bridge to go back up, and we could see the DEP research boat moving closer. Finally, the Acela high speed train came flying by!

The bridge went back up, the boats were happy now that they could continue on their journey, and Jack was jumping up and down! A happy little guy!!

We also found a geocache at this little spot too, making this visit even better!!
