Lindsey: life.turns #3

Here's Mr Toadally's cousin Lindsey on the deck by the boathouse at sunset. Thanks for contributing to the life.turns project Lin!

In the morning we girls went into Bracebridge to get groceries while the boys heaved rocks around and dealt with a nest of carpenter ants on the dock. They built an Inukshuk who looked cool with his bottle of beer and water weed necklace.

Later on another of the cousins arrived; A and her husband AJ so we had 10 people for dinner. Then (at about 10.30pm) we all went down to the dock and played music - AJ on guitar, Doug on drums and the rest of us on various percussion instruments (spoons etc). It was fun, goodness know what everyone else round the lake thought though! There was a wonderful moment when the crescent moon rose over the lake, glowing orange and reflecting on the water and we all sang Neil Young's 'Harvest Moon'.

I got very cold and went to bed after 12, the guys stayed up quite a bit later playing outside - horseshoes and firing at cans....
