Not as sharp as usual

I was up at 4am this morning to get the 5.30am Aberdeen train from Edinburgh Waverley in time for my 9am meeting. It's fair to say that come 12 noon I was not performing well and was decidedly well and truely done in. A false economy not travelling up the night before.

Wedding plans are progressing well but am at the stage now that I just wish it was here so life can get back to normal. Only 10 days now though, so not so long to go. It's great having all the US relatives over and very humbling indeed that so many folk would give up the time to come and visit us. Thanks y'all.

A day off tomorrow.

Task list;

1) Buy wood chips for the garden
2) Cut the front grass
3) Repair the chichen runs
4) Remove the slabs from the back of the truck
5) Go for a wander up the Pentlands
