centre of attention

My other children are coming home tomorrow - I can't wait!

The three year old has missed them but she has enjoyed being the centre of attention - and it is nice to give her my time in such abundance.

Tonight she insisted on dressing up in her ballet clothes (she doesn't actually do ballet yet!) and dancing for us.

It was lovely - for awhile, thankfully soon she will have a bigger audience and the balance will be restored.
