Under the trees

After a couple of missed picnic-lunches, today I got my colourful mat out of the closet and put together some sandwiches, fries and fruit.

The weather was perfect, hot but with a fresh breeze blowing.

Under the trees, wasps flying around us, we ate. The food was delicious, the taste enhanced by our surroundings.

In the end, laying on the picninc mat and looking at the sky felt like heaven.
