At Last..... An Egg!

At last after all these days one of our chickens finally laid an egg!

It's the one on the left of course, it's got quite a soft shell and it's wrinkly and a bit smaller than a normal chicken's egg but it is hopefully the first of many.

The shell had to be split with a sharp knife and the yolk was the most amazing dark yellow I have ever seen for an egg. Also it was the freshest egg I have ever seen, the white was really thick. Quite possibly the bestest egg ever!
