Big skies over the Beara

A gorgeous windy, big, bright kind of day. The Beara, peninsular next to us, looked amazing - so many different greens and blues, and the sky itself was huge and interesting - changing all the time. This, coupled with the vivid orange of the, montbretia in the hedgerows makes everywhere look wonderful - this was my other choice - so difficult to decide on the daily blip!
Tonight is Annabel's birthday so we are off to the Post Office in Kilcrohane. This being Ireland, the PO also doubles as a wine bar cum restaurant in the summer. Gins and tonic are scheduled for 7.15 at our house and the weather is being suitably sympathetic for us to take them outside in the garden. Lovely :)
