Echinacea

An amazing morning, blue skies, not a breath of air and the water looked like silk. By the time we'd got our acts together and went kayaking a little breeze had got up and it was quite tough going. Lovely nonetheless, and warm enough for me to throw caution to the wind and leap into the water!
The garden is still looking lush and colourful and I've been tempted to include a photo of echinacea for several days but got side-tracked. Today is the day for I especially like the little yellow circle that has appeared in the centre of each one. Crabtree took a photo of the echinacea as they first emerged over a month ago.
