No Domestic Goddess...

My first celebrity blip!

A grand day out was had today at the Fringe in Edinburgh - we spent most of the day at the Pleasance in mostly good weather. Love it there - there's always a great buzz in the air mingled with the smell of beer and hotdogs.

My first blip shortlist snap was pretty much identical to this blip, also posted today by David77! So I thought I'd better not use that one! Then hubby spotted comedian-off-the-telly Mark Watson sitting under the trees feeding his little baby, and told me to get my camera out as he was feeling brave enough to go up and ask to get his photo taken with him, along with his pal Mr S. We also got permission from Mark and his agent (who was sitting with him) to use the photo for my Blip entry, so here it is. We went to see his show last year at the Fringe, he's very funny, in case any of you are looking for someone to go and see this year!

The first show of the day was the Showcase at lunchtime in the Pleasance Cabaret bar - always a good bet as you never know who you'll see. We make sure we go to this every year, although there was an Irish comedienne there who we also saw two years ago - she was rubbish then and there was no improvement today... :-( Then we saw the Penny Dreadfuls (excellent), and then Jack Whitehall (also excellent), and then finally John Bishop - we saw him last year in the Pleasance and he was hilarious, has to be said this year he was in a much bigger venue, and was a little disappointing.

A great day and night in Edinburgh, all in all. What fun... :-)
