Sunday in The Glen

Today I have mostly strimmed and strimmed and strimmed until my ears were ringing, my fingers numb and my back aching. While BB has strimmed and made bread.

That aside from that we listened to Mahlers 5th Symphony from the Proms and Inspector Rebus both on the iPlayer, went for a wee walk and are just about to sit down to dinner.

The Wonder Dog has had a very special day, he attacked the Jeep, ran around it and tried to climb under the wheel arch in to the engine compartment. At one point I caught him trying to tear the wheel arch off to get in. Never daunted I opened the bonnet to discover a gang of mice had made their home by the header tank.

So it was mayhem for a few minutes while they were sorted out.

Never a dull moment in the country.

I'm just about to crash in that big soft sofa and watch a DVD with a glass of vino! rosso.
