Sunshine Superman

We woke this morning to constant heavy rain and grey skies, so while still abed we made plans for a 'curl up on the sofa with a book or two' sort of day.

No sooner had we had breakfast than the sun popped out and it turned into a glorious day, so it was off to the beach for a stroll followed by an afternoon of mooching around the newly strimmed lawns avoiding aerobatic swallow.

Hours later and the heavens opened up just as the sun was setting so we dashed out with the umbrella and caught the most spectacular sunset we've seen in many a year.

All very satisfying.
