A bowl half-filled

We are back in the mountains, in Baguio, and it is always great to be here. It has started to rain and the winds are getting gusty, but I won't complain since the weather is nice and cool and brings much comfort from the heat in Manila.
This lovely bowl has been here for the longest time and has witnessed the growing-up years of R2 and his siblings. It's life has been threatened a countless number of times by children running around playing were they shouldn't be. It has known the wonderful aroma of Minestrone and Carbonara being cooked in the kitchen. It has heard the chatter and banter of the family while gathered around the dining table and of shrieks and laughter from them while playing board games. It has also heard the gentle strums of R1's guitar and the sound of volleyballs being tossed around.
Each time I come to this house, I look for this bowl that is half-filled with memories.
