ARCHED DOOR TO CANTINA OF TUSCAN RUIN
I went back to the ruined house this morning to take pictures of the arched cantina doors. It is cloudy so the pics are not as washed out as those taken in the sun yesterday. We prowled around the place a bit this time, trying to figure out how the house was used. All the ground floor windows are heavily barred. This is common practice to thwart would be burglars with a fear of heights but this house seems more heavily barred than most. Again it speaks of wine and also money and treasures.
There are fairly modern sheds to one side. The front door might be a blip one day although it is more late 1800s and newer than the house as a whole.
We found the outdoor laundry in the back. I can't put a date to the tubs but they are not ancient but are pre World War II at least. There is a nice drying area close at hand.
Laundry
I felt I should have used this one because it shows both doors. There were steps down to both but the one on the left has suffered a small land side and is buried. There was a trough to hold the lavender between the two and a lilac bush at the corner of the house.
There are quite a few fruit trees on the property as well. Both doors.
