LAST OF THE WILD CARNATIONS
After yesterday's rather bland blip I went out to find something in brilliant colour. There isn't much left. The roadsides have been trimmed, the olive groves cleaned and most of the wild carnations are on their last blossoms which are surrounded by brown seeds. I did find these, blooming with the white Queen Ann's Lace/Cow Parsley. The latter is everywhere now and is at its best.
I will be slow on comments today as I have to go out for the rest of the day.
