A VIEW FROM WESTMINSTER BRIDGE
Another gorgeous day in London today, and I had a day off - yippee! I met my cousin, Renee, for lunch in Victoria. We had a great time - and a free dessert because the waiting staff totally forgot to bring us our main courses!
On the way back, I blipped this scene from the top deck of the number 148 bus (Camberwell Green to White City). I've wanted to capture this view for quite a while now, ever since I read the first page of Stieg Larsson's "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest", where the author writes about the statue of Boudicca. It is here in the foreground.
