Dragged to another show

We're just home from another fantastic night of fringing.

First show tonight was Nina Conti.
We've been to see Nina for at least the last 3 years getting better with each year and a larger venue every time. Tonight's show was in a properly air-conditioned room which is unusual for a fringe venue so we had comfort for the 50 minute show.
Monkey was his normal rude self (but we'd have him no other way), with other characters coming out of bags left right and centre. There was even audience participation - so if you go see, steer clear of that front row ;-)

Our 2nd show of the night was Drags Aloud at the movies
This show was in a more intimate venue than in previous years for the Drags - Belly Laugh. From the getgo I was sweating due to the poor air flow in this venue, but we were there to see the show so I soldiered on.
The show was excellent - the smaller venue really played well for this show - whereas the larger venues used in previous years didn't make you a part of the show.
If you've got a bit of cash burning a hole in your pocket and don't have work the next morning go see Drags Aloud - Belly Laugh @underbelly Cowgate - 22:50. Very much worth the money!
