Apia + Iva, Day 2 (Samoan time Tuesday 3rd August)
This morning we had another early rise, because we wanted to walk down and catch the morning fruit and fish markets. They were amazing to see! I loved the colours of the fish :)
Once we were back, we all went down to breakfast. They serve beautiful food in Samoa :P We has fresh banana's, pancakes, paw paw, bread and coconut. After breakfast, we had quite a large group meeting. It was decided that a few members would go down to the wharf, while they rest of us stuck to our itenary by going down to the 'tourist' markets. We got all our gifts that we needed, then walked back to our hotel to pack up our gear.
By this time, the container was unpacked and our trucks were heading to Iva! :D We were very happy.
Once packed, we caught the most amazing bus to the ferry. In Samoa, they have the old american school buses, but totally pimped out hahaha. Painted, with a great sound system. We had a great drive to the ferry!
Soon we were on the ferry travelling to the island Savaii. Once there, girls had to over their legs and shoulders. It was super hot! -.-
It was a short drive to Iva, and we were welcomed by Tufulasi's family. After some dinner, we had a little celebration night with the family, with performances like dancing and singing. Caleb and I performed a song, which was really fun. It was a great night :)
