Jo'burg - Clarens

M the lovely R's Mum went to see her sick friend RMC this morning and while doing this R and I did a bit of shopping for the car journey. M is diabetic so we have to prepare appropriately to keep her topped up.

This afternoon though we travelled the scenic route through Johannesburg (heading through downtown Jo'burg rather than round the freeway!) through the Golden Gate park to Clarens. It was supposed to be a 4 hour journey and it took a little longer due to the detour... so although we saw some fantastic scenery, the best bit, The Golden Gate Park was in darkness... so this is all I got!

Clarens looks lovely even in darkness... looking forward to waking up tomorrow!
