High Tea

Dark moody sky all around this morning the threat of a downpour ever present.

Juno and I had company and I had a good natter this morning.

Work was fine.

Lunchtime I headed out to give blood. It was doctor training day so they were getting assessed.

My arm was cleaned, then a swab taken to check it had been properly clean. Next the needle, a petite lady doctor took to it like a joosting pole and actually had to withdraw the needle a bit. Give me a nurse any day.

Back to work for more fun.

We had arranged to have less ambitous high tea with the neighbours who have been nomadic as work is done in their house. It was lovely. We supplied the cakes, pancakes and scones and we both made sandwichs. A good banter and now my chores.
