happy 80th opa!

today my grandfather celebrated his 80th birthday! quite a feat, right? a few people came over to visit with many phone calls as well. the evening was spent at a very pleasant monastery with a great restaurant.

dad and i cooked a nice italian lunch also. my grandfather tends to get very emotional at times but we can always tell when he appreciates things. :)
