Cousins

This morning I took my two second cousins out fishing. They are on holiday from the UK and have never experienced Australia style fishing. I would have loved to have taken them out on the bay but it was a bit windy. So Tingalpa creek it was.

The fishing wasn't great which was a shame for them. Heavy rain earlier in the week would have fed too much fresh water into the creek system. I did give young James a go at driving the boat. He worked the throttle while I worked the steering. A mis-communication between us led to a rather high speed run into the mangroves, followed by much giggling.

It wasn't a bad morning on the water.
