I finally finished the paving today. Jo and I discussed methods of finishing it off and eventually decided to go with pavers and stones. It works well.

Tonight we came up with a strategy to combat rain runoff. We regularly have big downpours in a short time which causes minor flooding. That combined with a clay based soil makes for a high water table. So the next big step is to tackle a way to combat runoff.
