Jelly (or Jello?) on a Plate

I was in the kitchen last night making this strawberry rabbit for you all, using aluminium moulds that belonged to my wife's mother.

When we had our carboot sales recently no one wanted these moulds so I kept them for just such an occasion as this.

My wife remembers them from when she was a child. Her mother used to make jellies and prop the moulds up on the plate-rack whilst they set. Sometimes they came out whole, sometimes in pieces. I did well with this, my third attempt.

Anyway, my wife says she likes jelly so there is another boon apart from this blip - we get to eat them!

By the way, the jelly is suitable for us because it is vegetarian!
