Aleta And Rodd.

An early start to this day as we were heading up to Edinburgh for a day out to see the street performers at the Fringe Festival and to meet a couple of online friends, Aleta and Rodd. We've known Aleta online for quite a while now and her husband Rodd we know as the really famous Spencer from Balamory! Although I think he doesn't get noticed quite so much now Rodd still does acting and presenting from time to time. Both Aleta and Rodd were great to spend the day with, we walked up Calton Hill to see the view, between downpours, we visited the grave of Greyfriar's Bobby and left sticks for the dear departed doggie, we went into a pub and ate vegetarian haggis with neeps and tatties and of course we watched the street performers.

Everyone I know who has been to the Fringe says it's a great atmosphere and they're right, a very cheap way to spend a few hours watching all those young people full of energy singing and dancing, acting and handing out flyers and insisting that theirs is the best show EVER!
