The Beach.

The weather forecast for today was awful, heavy rain, thunder, lightning and hail were predicted for the afternoon. So when we awoke to some weak sunshine we quickly got ready and headed off to the beach intending to just dip our toes in. This went well for a time until niece got her jeans wet, in the end we went back to the cabin to get warmed up as it was freezing cold and headed off to Berwick for some shopping as we expected the bad weather to come in the afternoon.

Thankfully the forecasters were wrong and we managed to get back to the beach for about 5 hours after lunch, this time we were prepared with bathing costumes and towels and snacks and a bodyboard for Katie to play with. Great fun, you can't beat that feeling of sand between your toes can you?
